Peaceful Garden Suite Card for Rosh Hashanah

Hello!

Today’s card features the Peaceful Garden Suite from the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog. Stampin’ Up! demonstrators got to purchase these products back in June to use in a Creativity Now event. I always eagerly await the holiday catalog to see what products I might be able to use for my cards, as it isn’t too often that Stampin’ Up! comes out with stamp sets with Jewish themes. It is amazing how so many products from the catalog can be used for other than Christmas cards! As soon as I saw this suite, with the beautiful Designer Series Papers in various shades of blue, as well as the dies to cut two different doves, I knew it would be perfect for both Jewish New Year cards as well as Hanukkah cards. While the traditional symbols of Rosh Hashanah are apples, honey, pomegranates and shofars, doves are frequently used as they symbolize peace, healing and a better world.

Measurements

  • Secret Sea cardstock – cut one piece at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ for card base; one piece at 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ for label
  • Misty Moonlight cardstock – 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ for label and two doves; 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside of card
  • Glimmer paper – one strip dark blue 1″ x 4″; one strip light blue 1″ x 3″
  • Peaceful Garden DSP – 4″ x 5 1/4″

Here is how I made the card.

  • Fold Secret Sea card base in half. Adhere Designer Series Paper to card front.
  • Run piece of Misty Moonlight through embossing machine with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder. This piece is small so you will have to center it around the middle of the design. Adhere to center front of card.
  • Run the Secret Sea piece of cardstock for the label through a die cutting machine with the larger of the two label dies from the Peace on Earth die set.
  • Run the Basic White cardstock cut at 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ through the die cutting machine with the smaller label die and the two doves. Stamp the greeting from the Mazel Tov stamp set (an Online Exclusive set introduced in July 2025) with Secret Sea ink. Adhere to Secret Sea label.
  • Adhere the entire label to the center of the embossed Misty Moonlight piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Run dark blue glimmer paper strip through die cutting machine with the large and small leaf images. Adhere the large leaf to the right side of the label. Adhere the small leaf to the smaller dove. Adhere doves to card front. Use the fine tip of either the Secret Sea Stampin’ Write Marker or Stampin’ Blend to make a dot for the eyes. Adhere one of the Hues of Blue Flowers embellishments in the lower left corner of the label.
  • For the inside of the card, adhere the Wishing You and Peace, Love & Joy greetings from the Peace on Earth stamp set on one acrylic block in order to stamp both at the same time. Stamp with Secret Sea ink.
  • Run the lighter blue glimmer paper strip through a die cutting machine with the large leaf die. Adhere to right side of the stamped image.
  • Adhere piece to inside of card.

Floral Impressions Hello Card

Hello!

Once again, it’s been awhile since I last posted. I’ve been very busy making cards since late July and am sitting on a backlog for posting them. In addition to my monthly in-person classes, I did two pro bono in-person workshops so was busy designing cards and preparing kits for weeks. One of the pro bono workshops I did was at St. Peter’s Apartments in Columbia, PA. I’ve done workshops there in the past, but it was over two years ago since I did the last one. I was happy to be back to help spread some joy to the residents there! I had twelve people in the session, all with varying stamping experience! I was grateful to have one of my experienced customers come along to help me! Since the skill levels were all over the place, I tried to keep the cards somewhat basic, which is always a challenge. Here is the card we made using the Floral Impressions Suite, an online exclusive that was introduced in July.

Measurements

  • Thick Basic White cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock – 2 1/8″ x 2 1/8″; scrap piece for greeting
  • Darling Duckling cardstock – 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″; 2 3/8″ x 2 3/8″
  • Peach Pie cardstock – scrap piece
  • Crushed Curry cardstock – scrap piece
  • Pecan Pie cardstock – scrap piece
  • Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper – 2″ x 5″; 2 3/8″ x 2 1/2″

Here is how I made the card.

  • Fold Thick White Cardstock base in half and crease sharply with bone folder
  • Adhere the larger piece of DSP to the larger piece of Darling Duckling cardstock. Adhere to left side of card front.
  • Adhere the smaller piece of contrasting DSP to card dhere
  • Adhere Basic White square to Darling Duckling square and adhere to front of card.
  • Run the scrap pieces of Peach Pie and Crushed Curry cardstock through die cutting machine using the largest and medium size flowers from the Impressions Abloom die set. There are two coordinating dies for each of the flowers. One cuts an outline only and the other cuts a solid piece. You want to nest both dies together in order to cut the solid flowers.
  • Run scrap piece of Pecan Pie cardstock through die cutting machine with both sizes of the flower centers. Adhere them to the flowers.
  • Adhere the flowers to the Basic White square with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Stamp greeting in Garden Green ink on scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. I used the hello greeting from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set. Punch out with a circle punch. Adhere under the large flower.
  • Embellish card. I used Earth Tones embellishments, which are now retired. The colors went beautifully with the DSP!
  • Stamp greeting of your choice on the inside of the card.

Notes & Totes Card

Hello!

Today’s card features the Notes & Totes Dies. We made two different cards in my latest class and this is one of them. I’ll be posting the other one later this week. This is such a fun set of dies to work with! I enjoyed playing with them and my customers had fun putting the cards together as well.

Measurements

  • Misty Moonlight cardstock – cut one piece at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ for card base; one piece at 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ for bag strips and bottom; one piece at 2″ x 2 1/2″ for bag handle
  • Basic White cardstock – one piece at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ for card front; one piece at 4 x 5 1/4″ for inside; scrap pieces for water bottle and sunglasses
  • Crumb Cake cardstock – 1 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ for sand
  • Strawberry Slush cardstock – scrap piece for sunglasses and triangular bag decoration
  • Basic Beige cardstock – scrap piece for sea shells
  • Country Lace Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 5″ – use sheet that looks like denim
  • 2025-2027 In Color Designer Series Paper – 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″

Here’s how I made the card.

  • Score Misty Moonlight card base at 4 1/2″, fold and crease with bone folder.
  • Tear across the top of the Crumb Cake cardstock. Stamp speckles with Crumb Cake ink. Use any stamp set you own that has a speckles stamp.
  • On the piece of Basic White cardstock for the card front, use Balmy Blue ink and Lemon Lolly ink and blending brushes to create the water and sun background. Adhere Crumb Cake sand piece to bottom of background piece.
  • Stamp greeting with Misty Moonlight ink in left top corner of card. I used one of my most favorite beach-themed greetings from Paradise Palms, a retired stamp set that I will never get rid of!
  • Run DSP piece through die cutting machine. Cut off the small tab at the bottom of the bag. Crease all score lines with bone folder. Fold up the bottom and outer sides of bag and adhere with liquid glue.
  • Adhere piece of Adhesive Sheet to Misty Moonlight cardstock for bag strips and and bottom and die cut. Run bag handle through die cutting machine with the 2″ x 2 1/2″ piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock.
  • Die cut scarf with the In Color DSP Strawberry Slush striped paper.
  • Die cut sunglass lenses and triangular bag decoraton. Adhere piece of Adhesive Sheet to a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut sunglass frame. Adhere frame to lenses.
  • Die cut water bottle with scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. Stamp small flowers randomly around bottle with Strawberry Slush ink. I used a flower from the Layers of Beauty stamp set, which worked perfectly. Any other small flower stamps would work too! Adhere water bottle handle to top of water bottle with thin line of liquid glue on the side of the top. Color top and handle with dark Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blend.
  • Die cut shells from Basic Beige scrap piece.
  • Adhere bag strips, bottom and handle to bag. Adhere scarf to left side of bag handle. Adhere sunglasses to right side of bag handle. Adhere triangular decoration to center of bag.
  • To adhere bag to card base, pop it up with Stampin Dimensionals, placing one or two at bottom of bag, three across the middle, leaving the top of the bag open. To adhere water bottle, use glue dots or liquid glue on back of bottle and slide into top of bag opening on right side of bag.
  • Adhere shells around sand. Embellish triangular bag decoration with Strawberry Slush gem.
  • Adhere 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock to inside of card and stamp greeting of your choice or leave blank.

Pretty Florals Best Wishes Card

Hello!

Here is another card that uses the Pretty Florals Bundle, which is part of the Florals in Bloom Suite in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. I CASED the catalog for this card, changing up the colors, papers and greetings.

Measurements

  • Basic White – cut one piece at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ for card base; one piece at 2 3/4″ x 4″
  • Florals in Bloom DSP – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Garden Green cardstock – 2 1/4″ x 5″
  • Shy Shamrock cardstock – 1 1/4″ x 4″
  • Bubble Bath cardstock – 2 1/2″ x 5″
  • Petunia Pop cardstock – 1 3/4″ x 5″

Here is how I made the card.

  • Score Basic White card base at 4 1/4″, fold and crease with bone folder.
  • Adhere floral DSP piece to front of card.
  • Die cut two of the thick leaves from the Pretty Florals dies with the Garden Green cardstock.
  • Die cut two of the long leaf clusters with the Shy Shamrock cardstock.
  • Die cut two of the large flowers from the solid die with Bubble Bath cardstock.
  • Adhere a piece of adhesive sheet to the Petunia Pop cardstock. Die cut two of the floral accent pieces w. flower centers. Remove adhesive sheet backing and adhere to solid flowers.
  • Stamp greeting with Petunia Pop ink on the 2 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I used the With You in Mind stamp set. Adhere piece to card front.
  • Arrange the Garden Green and Shy Shamrock flowers to the left side of the greeting piece. Arrange large flowers over the leaves. Once you like the arrangement, adhere all pieces with either liquid glue or Stampin’ Seal.
  • Stamp greeting with Petunia Pop ink on inside of card. Even though the card base is white, I always cut another piece of Basic White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside. If I mess up, at least I can redo it without ruining the card base. I also like the more finished look it gives to the inside.
  • Embellish with a few of the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems. Please note that they are no longer available.

There is still time to take advantage of the Suite and Suite Products Sale, which runs through June 30th. Here are a few details about the sale.

  • Suites and suite products from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, Buy one, get one at 50% off. Online Exclusives and Last Chance Products are included. There is a total of 27 suites included in the sale. If you are a demonstrator you can also purchase the Online Exclusives available now for pre-order.
  • Suite collections are available if all items are in stock; if all items are not in stock, you can still shop the available suite products.
  • The discount will appear in your cart once you’ve added two items within the sale parameters to your cart.  Watch the totals in your cart to make sure you are maximizing the benefits of the sale! Products are available only while supplies last.
  • When you shop the sale, the 50% off discount will apply to the lower-priced item (for example, if you buy a suite collection and a stamp set from a suite, the suite would be full price, and the stamp set would be 50% off). NOTE: You can purchase more than 1 suite for 50% off, but you would need to buy a full-price item for the discount. For example, if you add 4 suites to your order, 2 will be full price and 2 will be 50% off. If there are 3 suites in the order, 2 would be full price, and one will be 50% off.
  • Be strategic with your orders. To maximize the buy one, get one 50% off, you realize greater savings by ordering suites or bundles together, rather than ordering, for example, two suites and a set of embellishments. Because the 50% off comes off the lowest priced product, it would be the embellishments that would get the discount and not the second suite.
