Here is a sneak peek of the Ornate Garden Suite. It will be in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog that will be introduced this June. You don’t have to wait until then to be able to purchase these products. Stampin’ Up! is making them available now, in an early product release! You can make your early purchase now through May 31st.
This suite includes two bundles, designer series papers, ribbons, embossing folder and embellishments. You have the option to purchase the entire suite or purchase any of the products in the suite separately. The stamps and papers are so pretty and the dies in this set are amazing!
Here are a few project samples created by Stampin’ Up! concept artists.
I just placed my order for the suite and can’t wait to receive it so I can start creating. I think we can all use an extra touch of springtime these days and this suite sure fits the bill!
There are just a few hours left for Sale-A-Bration 2020. Now is your last chance to get a free gift with your $50 or $100 purchase. These products will not be carried over into the 2020-2021 annual catalog. Here is a card I made with the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. The colors in these papers are bold and bright!
Here is how I made the card.
Card base – cut piece of Highland Heather cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Cut bottom edge into a triangular point. I made a template from a piece of Whisper White cardstock, traced around the pointed edge and cut out with paper snips.
Randomly stamp small flower image from the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set with Gorgeous Grape ink on bottom half of card front. Adhere the DSP to the card. This stamp set is also a SAB item.
For the butterfly, cut piece of DSP at 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. I used the same paper design and cut it with die in the Springtime Impressions set in the annual catalog. At first I thought I’d use the reverse side of the paper, which is Lovely Lipstick and looks like a watercolor wash, but I liked how the effect of the floral side of the paper looked much better. Attach the butterfly by adding Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the center of the piece and then slightly curl in the wings. Add four Noble Peacock Rhinestones along the center for some added bling.
For the sentiment I used the Tags in Bloom stamp set, another SAB item. Stamp with Coastal Cabana ink on scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. Punch out with the Label Me Fancy Punch from the mini catalog.
For the Coastal Cabana piece I used the Happy Birthday stamp from the Layered With Kindness set from the mini catalog. I didn’t want the birthday greeting so I colored only the frame design with a Stampin’ Write Marker. You can also stamp the entire image because when you tape the sentiment piece down it will be covered up. Punch out with the Label Me Lovely Punch. Adhere greeting to this piece and attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Hello! I hope that you are managing okay during these very extraordinary circumstances. One way to stay connected to family, friends, neighbors and colleagues alike is to “make a card, send a card.” I know most of you are sitting on a stockpile of stamping supplies, so what better time than now to get them out and create cards. They don’t have to be elaborate – stamps, ink, paper is all it takes, as it is mostly the thought that counts!
For today’s card I’m featuring a thank you card I made for customers that attended my February Stamping Club. By the time I had a chance to sit down and make the cards, the shelter in place directive had taken effect, so I decided to make the cards extra special and do something bright and cheerful too! I used the Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating daisy punches, which I haven’t used in a while, along with the beautiful Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Papers, one of the products in the Sale-A-Bration second release.
Here is how I made the card.
Card base – cut piece of Pineapple Punch cardstock at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of Melon Mambo cardstock at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhere to card front.
Cut piece of Flowering Foils DSP at 4″ x 5 1/4″. I selected Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Melon Mambo for my color palette and used a sponge brayer to cover the DSP with the three different ink colors. Simply roll the brayer over the ink pad several times until the sponge picks up the ink and then roll it across the paper. Depending on how intense you want the color to be, you can keep reinking and sponge rolling. First I put down the Pineapple Punch, then the Grapefruit Grove and then the Melon Mambo, slightly overlapping each of the colors. I then went back a second time to further blend the lines together for each of the colors.
Stamp two large daisies and one small daisy from the Daisy Lane Stamp set for each finished daisy. One set is stamped with Pineapple Punch ink and the other with the Grapefruit Grove ink. Adhere the three daisies together with liquid glue.
Stamp greeting on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 1/2″ x 2 3/4″. I used the “a little note” from the Butterfly Gala stamp set not only because I like the greeting but I also like the type font too. Using a pair of paper snips, flag one of the ends to make a banner.
To put the card together, position the daisies where you’d like them and before adhering them down on the foil paper, first adhere the greeting with liquid glue, positioning one of the ends underneath a daisy. Adhere first daisy over the greeting and then adhere the second daisy, slightly overlapping the first one. Adhere piece to Melon Mambo mat. For the final touch, add a Perennial Essence Floral Center to each daisy.

Hello! Today I’m sharing another floral dress card. This one features products from the Tropical Oasis Suite. Floral and tropical prints are a big fashion trend this year. InStyle and Vogue magazines have been showing beautiful designer clothing with these prints in their current issues, so Stampin’ Up! is also right on trend with the fabulous Tropical Oasis Designer Series Papers!
Here is how I made the card.
Cut a piece of Mango Melody cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhere to Mango Melody card front.
Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Emboss piece with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to Pear Pizzazz piece.
Cut piece of Tropical Oasis DSP at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Trace dress template and cut out.
For the flower, on scrap piece of Mango Melody cardstock, stamp with Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Cut out with coordinating die from the In The Tropics die set.
Cut three small leaves from Pear Pizzazz cardstock with die from the set.
Arrange flower and leaves on dress. I put the flower down and then tucked the leaves underneath until I got a nice arrangement. Then I used a bit of snail on bottom of each leave to adhere them. Adhere flower with multipurpose glue.
Stamp greeting from the Timeless Tropical stamp set with Grapefruit Grove ink. Die cut with die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Using the same die, cut another piece from small scrap of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Cut this piece in half horizontally and adhere to top and bottom of greeting.
Adhere dress and greeting to card front with regular and mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, add some bling using colored rhinestones in center of flower and around neckline of dress.
For the inside of the card cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″. I selected another greeting from the stamp set and stamped the small flower image with Mango Melody ink in bottom left corner.

Hello! I’m so excited that spring begins in the United States just a few days from now! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for March. I’m part of a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world that participate in Kylie’s program for building our businesses. Please be sure to click on the names in the list at the end of this post to hop around and view the beautiful cards posted by so many talented stampers.
Today I’m sharing two cards I made using a dress template as the focal point. I was going through some old issues of Stamper’s Sampler and Take Ten magazines recently and saw this dress template and the creative juices began to flow. I loved coloring and playing with paper dolls when I was a child and in my teen years, living in New York City, one of the fashion capitals of the world, had thought of a career in fashion at one point, so it has been fun to revisit my “inner fashion designer” !! I apologize for the quality of some of the photos. With glare from lighting and the metallics in the cards it was challenging!
The first card uses products from the Parisian Blossoms Suite. Here is how I made the card.
For the card base, cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of DSP from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to card front.
For the dress, I photocopied the page from the magazine and then reduced the image to 90%, cut out and traced it around piece of the Pool Party floral DSP.
I stamped the blossom image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set with Early Espresso ink five times on a piece of Whisper White cardstsock. I lightly water colored the centers of the flowers with Pool Party and Petal Pink with an aquapainter and cut them out with the die from the Cherry Blossoms die set.
Using the Cherry Blossoms die set I also cut out a variety of blossoms from a scrap piece of Champagne Foil.
Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso ink on a scrap piece of Petal Pink cardstock and cut out with die from the Ornate Frames Dies that carried over from the Holiday Catalog. This has been a “go to” set of dies for me!
Tie a piece of Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic Edge Ribbon around dress waist. Adhere dress on slight angle to card front. Adhere sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Arrange die cut flowers along both edges of dress and glue down each one individually with multipurpose glue along both sides of the dress.
Add some Champagne Rhinestones along the neckline of the dress.
For the inside of the card I decided not to stamp a greeting so I cut a strip of the Pool Party floral DSP at 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered along the side of a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4.”
For the next card I wanted to play with the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration 2nd Release.
Cut piece of Rococo Rose cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of the Flowering Foils DSP at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Color the paper using a sponge brayer and Rocoso Rose ink.
Cut piece of 1/2″ Rococo Rose gathered ribbon and adhere to DSP, folding both ends over each side of the card. I used pieces of tape to secure both sides of the ribbon. Adhere DSP to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the dress, cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 5 1/2″ x 6″. Using the brayer and Rococo Rose ink, color the inside of the raised side of the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, insert paper and run through an embossing machine. Trace dress template and cut out.
For the bow on the dress I wanted to use the gathered ribbon but it was too wide and bulky when I tried tying it on the dress so I ended up cutting away the gold middle of the ribbon and just using the edges, which gave me a double bow.
Adhere dress to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I put them all around the dress and down the middle.
I colored some Pearl Basic Jewels with the Light Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends and adhered to the dress.
For the inside of the card I decided not to use a greeting. I cut a piece of the Flowering Foils DSP at 3/4″ x 4″. I colored in the flowers with the Light Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends and the Dark Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends for the centers, and adered to bottom piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″.
I had lots of fun making these cards and have a few more ideas that I will be featuring here in the next week so be sure to visit again.
Today’s card features the Best Dressed Suite. The minute I saw this in the Mini Catalog I knew I had to have it – it is so me! My love of fashion came from my mother. She was a beautiful woman and what we used to call a “fashion plate.” She sure loved her clothes, jewelry, shoes and handbags and of course everything had to match perfectly! This card is all about the shoes and was quick and easy to put together.
Here is how I made the card.
Cut piece of Pretty Peacock cardstsock at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of paper from the Best Dressed Designer Series Papers at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to card front.
Cut piece of Mint Macaron cardstock at 3″ x 4″. Cut piece of shoe DSP at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and adhere to Mint Macaron piece.
Stamp shoe greeting from the Dressed to Impress stamp set with Pretty Peacock ink on scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cut with 2″ circle from the Layering Circles Dies. You can also use the 2″ Circle Punch. Leave enough space at the top of circle to allow for room to partially adhere the shoes.
Stamp the shoe image twice on scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color one shoe with the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends and the other with the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. Cut out with shoe die from the All Dressed Up Dies.
Cut piece of Lovely Lipstick 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon and tie bow around Mint Macaron and shoe DSP piece. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere stamped circle piece over ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Partially adhere shoes to circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, overlapping them.
On the inside of the card I stamped two shoes on left lower side of piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″, colored them with Lovely Lipstick and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends and adhered to card.
Hello! Today I have another card featuring the Peaceful Poppies Suite. I used both the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments stamp sets and selected one of my favorite colors, Blackberry Bliss, as the main color.
Here is how I made the card.
Card base – Cut piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score and fold in half.
Cut piece of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Papers at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to front of card.
Cut coordinating piece of DSP at 3″ x 3 1/2″ and adhere at an angle in the center of the card front.
Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. Stamp poppy image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, leaving room at the bottom of the piece to add the greeting.
Color the flower with the light and dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends and color the leaves with light and dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the small splatter image from the stamp set five time around the flower with Blackberry Bliss ink, stamping off each time before stamping onto cardstock.
Stamp the birthday greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set with Versamark Ink on scrap piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Punch out with the Lable Me Fancy Punch, one of the new punches in the Mini Catalog.
Die cut a Blackberry Bliss scalloped trim piece using the die from the Painted Labels Dies set.
Put the card together by adhering the scalloped trim piece to the bottom of the stamped image. Adhere to angled piece of DSP. Attach the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Stamp greeting with Blackberry Bliss ink. Stamp poppy image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and color with the light and dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to card.
