Hello and welcome to Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop! I’m part of a group of amazingly talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world that participate in Kylie’s program for building our businesses.
Today’s card is made with products from the gorgeous Perennial Essence Suite. I was asked by a friend to create a special birthday card for a friend of hers. After going to several card shops she couldn’t find what she was looking for so this is what I came up with after discussing what she wanted on the card. I gave her several choices and was hoping she would pick my favorite one – and she did!
This is how I made the card:
Card base – Petal Pink cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and fold in half.
Cut piece of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Adhere piece of Organdy Striped Ribbon to paper and adhere to card base. Cut another piece of ribbon, tie in bow and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. Stamp largest flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set all over with Petal Pink ink. Stamp the beautiful day sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set over the flowers using Balmy Blue ink. Adhere to card.
Stamp medium flower twice on piece of Whisper White cardstock with Balmy Breeze ink and then stamp the center of one of the flowers with Crushed Curry ink. Stamp small flower twice with Blueberry Bushel ink and stamp both flower centers with Crushed Curry Ink. Fussy cut all four flowers. Adhere the two larger flowers together. Arrange flowers at bottom left corner of card and adhere.

Today I’m featuring a yummy birthday card made with the Birthday Goodness stamp set pictured on page 62 in the 2019-2020 annual catalog. I love the images and type font in this set.
Purple Posy is my favorite of the five new InColors and I decided to use it as the main color for the card. One evening as I was searching for color combinations I came across some cards from a recent Color Fusers Blog Hop that featured Purple Posy, Seaside Spray and Soft Sea Foam and thought it was a soft, feminine color combination. While I love pastels, I tend to go a little brighter with my colors, so I decided to challenge myself and am pleased with how pretty the colors look together.
Here is how I made the card.
Card base – Purple Posy cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and fold in half.
Cut another piece of Purple Posy cardstock at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. Emboss with the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Cut an 18″ piece of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and tie in a bow around embossed piece. Adhere to card base.
Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 2 3/4″ x 4 3/4″. Stamp image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color image with Stampin’ Blends. I used Seaside Spray dark and light Blends for the roses, Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam dark and light for the macarons and dark Petal Pink for the cream filling. For the cake stand I used dark and light Smoky Slate.
Die cut image using the next-to- largest die in the Stitched Nested Label set. Using the largest die in the set cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam . Adhere together. Attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the greeting with Seaside Spray ink and punch out with the Classic Label punch. Adhere to image with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment for an extra-added touch.
Inside of card – Stamp a greeting from the set on piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ with Seaside Spray ink.

Today’s card is the thank you card I sent to customers that placed orders with me this past June. It features the lovely Very Versailles stamp set pictured on page 113 in the 2019-2020 annual catalog. When I saw this in the catalog I knew immediately that I would purchase it because I really like the vintage look you can create with the various images included in the set. I also wanted to showcase one of the new InColors – Terracotta Tile.
Here is how I made the card :
Card base – Cut a piece of Soft Suede cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and fold in half.
Cut a piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhere to card base. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 3 7/8″ x 5″.
Stamp full image of script writing at lower left corner and partial image of script writing at upper right corner on Very Vanilla piece with Terracotta Tile ink. Stamp partial leaf image at upper left corner and full image at lower right corner with Mossy Meadow ink. I used the handy-dandy Stamparatus to position the stamps because I was making multiple cards and needed for the images to be lined up correctly for each one.
Stamp the fancy frame image in Soft Suede ink and fussy cut. Stamp Thank You greeting in Terracotta Tile ink and punch out with the 1″ Circle Punch. Adhere to frame,
Cut a 4 1/2″ piece of Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon and adhere to stamped image, wrapping sides of ribbon to the back. Adhere stamped frame to the piece with either Snail Tape or Multipurpose Liquid Glue and if you prefer a raised image attach it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach art piece to card base.
There is only one week left to take advantage of the Bonus Days promotion. For every $50 you spend you will get a $5.00 coupon that you can redeem when you place orders in August.

I love how the color combination works on this card! I can’t get enough of this gorgeous impressionist looking paper so I know you will be seeing more cards from me using this paper in the future.
Today’s card features the Floral Essence stamp set and was designed as a SIP (Stamps, Ink, Paper) card, so it is an easy card to create for both beginner crafters as well as avid crafters with a limited amount of time for cardmaking.
The color combination for the card is Rococo Rose, one of the new InColors, Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue. Here is how I made the card.
Card base – cut piece of Balmy Blue cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and fold in half.
Cut piece of Smoky Slate cardstock at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and attach to card base. Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″.
Stamp the sentiment with Balmy Blue ink at bottom right on the piece of Whisper cardstock. To create the background, stamp the large floral image with Smoky Slate ink multiple times on piece of the Whisper White cardstock.
Stamp the three-petal image with Rococo Rose ink six times on a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock. Punch the petals out with the Perennial Flower Punch. Attach two of the petals together with a mini glue dot to make one flower. Repeat two more times.
Adhere stamped background piece to card front. Attach the punched flowers to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside of card. Stamp large floral image at bottom corner of card using one of the three colors from the card and adhere.
