Hello on this lovely sun-filled day! I’ve been absent for a few weeks and am finally getting back to posting again. I run a consulting business and have had to turn all of my attention to it in the last few months as things picked up. Two weeks ago I attended the Association of Independent Information Professionals annual conference in Philadelphia and had a wonderful time, learning many new things I can apply to my business and catching up with colleagues I don’t get to see very often. I was also honored to have been asked to be a presenter, speaking on “Successful Projects: Secret Sauce to Keeping a Client Happy.” While I had the presentation worked out in my head for quite some time, needless to say, I spent a great deal of time actually sitting down to write it and find appropriate photographs to include in my Power Point slides, which has resulted in my doing very little cardmaking recently! In addition to this blog post I will be writing one more post today in order to catch up with several current Stampin’ Up! promotions.
It was announced today that the Clearance Rack has been refreshed with lots of new merchandise including dies, punches, designer series papers and more! Many holiday die sets have been included. Items in the clearance rack usually go fast so be sure to check it out soon! Click here to shop.
Stampin’ Up! has introduced this limited-time only product medley which will be available from May 1-31st. Product medleys are a new concept and are not kits. They include a full suite of coordinating products that have been created to give stampers endless project possibilities. Here are the details of what is included.
Where does the time go? I had to put Stampin’ Up! on the back burner over the last two weeks as I tended to my primary business, which is a business information consultancy, and to prepare for several tax returns. Now, as I’m coming up for air, Sale-A-Bration is coming to an end on March 31st. Stampin’ Up! had some amazing SAB products this year, as evidenced by how quickly some of them sold out. However, there are still five days left to earn these wonderful free gifts with every $50 or $100 you spend.
In addition to the above SAB products, you can also choose from the following items from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog as well as the beautiful Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper.
The following Sale-A-Bration Coordination Products are still available for purchase but will no longer be available after March 31st.
March is your last chance to take advantage of this fantastic starter kit offer from Stampin’ Up! If you are already a happy shopper, why not get a 20% discount on all of your purchases! You will also get to see new annual and seasonal catalogs in advance, place pre-orders, attend On-Stage events and enjoy many other perks. You do not have to be a business builder – you can simply be your best customer! Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in learning more about how to become a Discount Shopper! The exclusive Craft & Carry Tote will no longer be available when this promotion ends.
If you have questions about any of these products or if I can help you to place an order please don’t hesitate to contact me. Click here to shop my online store. Thanks for stopping by today!
Hello! Today I’m featuring a set of four cards I made using the Painted Seasons stamp set and Designer Series Paper that are part of the Sale-A-Bration Second Release offerings. In addition I used the Four Seasons Framelits Dies that are one of the Sale-A-Bration Coordination products. I designed these cards to showcase the gorgeous designer papers, which really speak for themselves! This stamp set doesn’t include any greetings so I went through all of my current stamp sets and pulled a variety that I thought would work well.
These are the basic measurements for all of the cards. Other measurements and supplies are listed under each card.
Card base – Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″
Card mats – various colors – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Ribbon – various colors – 16″-18″ – give yourself enough slack to be able to tie a pretty bow. Tie bows onto the matted piece before attaching sentiments, etc.
Mat – Lemon Lime Twist card stock
“Life is a Beautiful Thing” sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set – stamp with Pool Party ink onto Whisper White card stock
Die cut stamped image and die cut piece of Pool Party card stock using Layering Squares framelits. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp succulent image with Lemon Lime Twist ink onto Whisper White card stock and die cut with coordinating Four Seasons framelit. Attach to edge of sentiment piece.
Ribbon – Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon (Retired)
Mat – Mango Melody card stock
“So Glad We Are Friends” sentiment from Incredible Like You stamp set – stamp onto Whisper White card stock with Mango Melody ink and stamp small leaf from Painted Seasons stamp set with Lemon Lime Twist ink.
Die cut sentiment using Layered Circles Framelits and die cut piece of Mango Melody card stock using coordinating circle from the Stitched Shapes framelits and attach to sentiment.
Ribbon – Granny Apple Green 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon
Mat – Poppy Parade card stock
Stamp floral image on piece of Whisper White card stock using Petal Pink ink. Using Early Espresso ink stamp “Thank you for Being So Sweet” sentiment from Treat Time stamp set on top of the flower. Die cut using the circle die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies. Attach to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Ribbon – Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack – Petal Pink
Mat – Call Me Clover card stock
Stamp “Hello” greeting from the Accented Blooms stamp set using Early Espresso Ink. Punch out greeting with the Tailored Tag Punch.
Stamp two ferns with Call Me Clover ink onto Whisper White card stock and die cut with coordinating Four Seasons framelit. Attach leaves using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and attach greeting on top of the leaves.
Ribbon – 1/4″ Copper Trim
I had a great time making these cards! The stamps and designer papers are so versatile and lend themselves to many different possibilities.
