Hello and happy holidays to you! I’m finally back after being MIA for the last few weeks. This month turned out to be crazy for me so I had to put Stampin’ Up! on the back burner. I took a week-long trip to Appleton, Wisconsin to help my brother out after knee replacement surgery. This also involved taking care of his two large dogs, Ramsey, a 10-year old German Shepherd and Triton, a 2-year old Belgian Malinois, both of whom are taller than I am when they stand – what a handful!! This was my second trip there this year, as I was there for his first knee surgery back in March. His recovery is going very well so I’m happy for him. For those of you that might not know, I have been a business reference librarian for over 35 years and have had my own consulting business since 2012. Right before I left for Wisconsin I got a research project from a client and the deadline was the day after Christmas. When you are in business for yourself, you take the work when it comes your way, so when I got home, I dropped everything and glued myself to my computer until I sent the completed project off to my happy client! This meant dropping everything else, including making my own holiday cards, which I finally got in the mail yesterday, just in time to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! Sometimes a girl just has to do what she has to do!!
